100,000 Miles!! WooHoo!

I finally did it! 100,000 miles on the Wing Saturday on a beautiful day for just holding the handlebars and taking in all that Mother Nature has to offer. The Wing has been as reliable and faithful as anyone can ask considering that it has a sidecar attached to it's side and a camper trailer in tow for any and all road trips we've made over the years since 1994. The Wing has been a continuous source for great memories in our travels around the Southeast and beyond. My Son has grown up in that sidecar and seen the world through that bubble windshield that most kids never see let alone dream about. The Wing has brought me and my Wife of 28 years even closer together. Being that close together and having to rely on each other during our rides can make you really appreciate you relationship with your "significant other". Those of you who share the road with your companions know what I mean, and those who have SO's that don't ride but understand your passion for riding should thank our lucky stars.

Motorcycle riding has been a big part of my friends that were, are and will be. Motorcycling is a society of people that don't care where you're from or what you do for a living, or even what you ride. I've ridden my scooter with the "Big Guys" and had just as much fun as I've had leading rides for hundreds of miles on my Wing. No matter the speed of your ride, it's the love of the ride that drives this way of life. Even this web site makes room for "bikers" from scooters, to cruisers , to the fastest race bikes money can buy. If you notice in the videos and pictures posted here there all types of bikes and riders leaning into the same curves and back roads together.
Thanks to those I've met over the years and to the ones I've yet to meet on my motorcycle travels. A very special thanks to those responsible for this web site for allowing me to post my experiences here and share what riding means to me. Keep up the good work guys. You may make Alabama a riding destination for riders all over the country before you know it. Alabama has it's secrets that have yet to be discovered and this forum allows all of us to share our favorite places close to our homes.

Thanks again.
Ride safe and ride often!
